Double Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda and Uganda

Double Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda and Uganda

Double gorilla trekking is available in Rwanda and Uganda. This experience is done because there are limited permits on each day, and time spent with Gorillas in the forest is limited to one hour. Most people find it worth a second tracking to maximise more time with the Gorillas. Tracking Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park and Bwindi Forest are two different safari experiences.

The Volcanoes National Park is an over-laying park on the slopes of the Virunga Mountains in Rwanda. With the changing topography, you will find these creatures in the bamboo forests. Unlike in the Bwindi National Park where Mountain Gorillas reside in the dense thick forests in the rugged Mountains. Hiking here is more of an adventure because you need to be prepared for this experience. There’s always a downfall at any time, and the time taken is unpredictable. People will choose locations for Gorilla trekking not because of the price difference, but also the experience one would like to take in the African Jungles.

Trekking Gorillas twice is when one is allowed and able to visit the gorillas more than once. Following the increasing interest in gorilla trekking from tourists, there’s a need for double gorilla trekking packages in both Rwanda and Uganda. Double Gorilla trekking is such a rewarding adventure to visitors with a minimum of 4 or 5 days on a trip. We recommend doing double Gorilla trekking in two different sections. In most cases, we need to change accommodations or locations in Uganda and Rwanda.
