This 4 Day Rwanda Gorillas and Bisoke Hike Tour grants travellers grand chances to meet with the Gorillas and as well hike up to the top of Mount Bisoke. It is perfect for those after active adventures. Both activities take place in Volcanoes, a prominent park in the northeastern part of the country.
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Volcanoes
Our Safari guide will pick you up from Kigali airport – particularly on arrival. With this package, you are required to arrive very early in the morning such that you get some time for a city tour, lunch in Kigali and later transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes
Before you start a drive to the starting point, have your morning breakfast. After briefing, the journey to the Jungle starts in a group following the permanently established trails. The group usually consist of eight tourists and a park ranger guide.
You will wander in the Jungle until you locate the Gorilla family you are tracing. One hour is allowed while in the presence of Mountain Gorillas. After you will start the Journey back to create more room for the apes to continue with their day-to-day work.

Day 3: Bisoke Volcano Hike
After great moments with the Gorillas, the next day is a scenic hike up to the top of Mount Bisoke. Early in the morning be at the starting point for a short briefing.
The adventure is usually a six hours hike including four hours for ascending to the top and two hours for descending back. The main highlight at the top is the Crater Lake and the sweeping views of vast landscapes.
Day 4: Volcanoes – Transfer back to Kigali.
This is the last day in Volcanoes, have morning breakfast, prepare all your belongings and later you will check out for a drive back to Kigali. Have lunch in the city, and visit some craft shops and banks for money withdrawal. After drop off at the airport for your return flight.
