3 Day Rwanda holiday - Gorilla Safaris - Volcanoes National Park
If you are up for a Gorilla adventure tour in Rwanda, we have a fantastic package for you, and this is a three-day Rwanda holiday. It takes you to a scenic hike Virungas of Rwanda to trek Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park.
Day 1; Transfer to Volcanoes National Park/ Virunga
The day starts with a city tour of Kigali to the memorial site in Gisozi which lasts about 3 hours. Later you will have lunch before you proceed to Musanze in Volcanoes National Park. Check-in at Muhabura lodge (Budget), Davinci lodge / Le Bambou Gorilla lodge (Mid-range) and Mountain Gorilla View Lodge / Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge (Luxury).
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trek – Iby’wachu Cultural Village
Be at the Park headquarters in time for group allocation and a short briefing conducted to highlight tourists on how to behave while in the Jungle. After one hour with the Gorillas, you will start the journey back to the starting point, where you continue from up to your lodge. Relax for some time as you get prepared for the evening visit to the Iby’wachu Cultural village.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking – Transfer back to Kigali.
Wake up early and transfer up to the Park headquarters in Kinigi. After a short briefing, you will start the rewarding journey to the Jungle with the interest of meeting with these primates.
Some time is allowed while in the presence of the Golden monkeys until you start the journey back to the Park offices.
After beautiful moments with the monkeys, in the afternoon you will embark on a drive back to Kigali.
